Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Kayla Peeples is a coastal Georgia Southerner with an affinity for good seafood. The youngest of two, Kayla learned early that life can be unpredictable—and sometimes unfair—when her mother lost her battle with gallbladder cancer. However, the strength her mother showed in her fight taught Kayla that resilience is infectious and grief has no expiration date.

A proud University of Georgia graduate, Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, leveraging her childhood passion for writing as the cornerstone of her career. It was through her love of storytelling that she found her path in communications and marketing.

When she’s not being a digital creative behind the scenes, Kayla loves doing things that bring her joy: nail art, puzzling, volunteering, reading, and watching a good horror movie—among many other favorites.
