
SCHOLARSHIPS
The financial costs a family may inherit as a result of caring for a mother with stage 4 cancer, and then closing the chapters of her life, may impact her daughter's ability to pursue post-secondary opportunities. To off-set a small amount of the financial burden, Harriett’s Daughters will award educational scholarships to those young women -- who plan to go to college in the 2022-2023 academic school year.
To be eligible for a Harriett's Daughters Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a U.S. citizen

Reside in the Greater Atlanta area

Be a young woman in her senior of high school

Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.00 scale

Have a mother who has stage 4 cancer, or a mother who has died from cancer
In addition to the general eligibility requirements, applicants will be asked to provide the following:

Two letters of recommendation (both letters must be written on official letterhead and signed)

An essay/personal statement

A one-minute video introduction

Official academic transcript
