TRANSFORMING GRIEF INTO HOPE

Harriett's Daughters strives to be the soft landing for girls who have lost their mother to cancer or whose mother has an end-stage cancer diagnosis.

OUR APPROACH

SCHOLARGIFTS

ScholarGifts are awarded to young women in their senior year in high school, who have lost their mother to cancer or whose mother has an end-stage cancer diagnosis, and plan to attend college in the 2025-2026 academic year.

MENTORING

Our mentoring program is designed to help adolescent and teenage girls feel good about themselves and their future development, despite the loss or impending loss of their mother, and to help build their confidence in the support system they have around them.

FAMILY SUPPORT

When a mother's transition from life to death is anticipated, the mourning process begins early and is filled with a range of conflicts and emotions as a girl watches her mother's health decline. By offering services that are uniquely their own, Harriett’s Daughters will help girls learn to manage their emotions so they can make the most of the remaining time with their mothers as they prepare for her transition.

PROGRAMS

Our goal is to offer robust, life-transforming, immersive programs that focus on the whole person.  Programs will be designed in an innovative and forward-thinking manner, and curriculum will be commensurate with age.
